After a DNA test revealed a kid he conceived with his partner was not his, a 32-year-old man named Changa-Moro Meyemoh demanded GH₵70,000 in compensation, setting off a social media frenzy.

The young man said that the money was intended to cover the expenses he experienced during and after the pregnancy.

He clarified that when his girlfriend’s family found out he had gotten their daughter pregnant outside of marriage, they fined him heavily.
