Why Amerado and Kofi Mole Fell Out—Rapper Reveals What Really Happened

Ghanaian rapper Amerado has offered new insight into the fallout between himself and fellow artiste Kofi Mole, years after their online exchange caught the attention of fans. The revelation came during a recent interview with blogger ZionFelix, where the “Kwaku Ananse” hitmaker explained the series of events that led to their brief feud.

According to Amerado, the tension began during the planning of a music video in which Mole had agreed to feature. Amerado revealed that he had even written a verse specifically for Mole, but things took a turn when the latter failed to show up on the day of the shoot. Left to handle the performance alone, Amerado said the absence created unexpected challenges and added pressure to the production.

What intensified the situation, he explained, was a post Mole made on social media shortly after, which Amerado interpreted as an insult. That moment, more than the no-show, solidified the rift between the two artists.

Though he jokingly recalled wanting to confront Mole at the time—claiming he had territorial pride over the Lakeside area where the incident unfolded—Amerado made it clear that there’s no lingering animosity.

He praised Mole’s recent resurgence in the music scene and admitted that while their past disagreement was genuine, it has long since been buried. According to him, the entire episode is now water under the bridge, and he’s pleased to see his former colleague enjoying renewed success.
