The Deputy Comptroller elaborated on the rationale behind the decision to allocate Bobrisky to a distinct cell, emphasizing that the choice was guided by medical assessments that confirmed Bobrisky’s possession of both male and female physical attributes, necessitating bespoke accommodation to address his unique situation.
This newly unveiled information emerged subsequent to Bobrisky’s sentencing to a six-month imprisonment term handed down by a Lagos court over charges of naira mutilation.
The legitimacy of Bobrisky’s incarceration became the subject of scrutiny following the release of an audio clip by social media influencer Martins Ortse, alias VeryDarkMan, raising doubts regarding the circumstances surrounding Bobrisky’s detention.
In the now-public recordings, Bobrisky asserted that he served his sentence in an exclusive facility due to the support of a mysterious ‘godfather.’
Notwithstanding these startling claims, an investigative panel meticulously examined the allegations and concluded that there existed no concrete evidence to substantiate Bobrisky’s purported stay outside the prison premises during his mandated detention period.
