Musician Twicy has revealed why Kuami Eugene could not sign him. In an interview monitored by News & Vibes, he explained that at the time Kuami Eugene wanted to sign him, he already had a group he was working with and could not abandon them just like that.
Additionally, there was an album ready to be launched.
He added that the artiste had been of great help to him and that there are plans to collaborate with him on a song.
“I have met a lot of people through him. There was a time he even wanted to sign me, but because I have my people, he couldn’t. Now we are even planning to collaborate with him…. But we already had an album so waiting a bit… Kuami really loves me, so I know we will collaborate.”
When asked about his relationship with Patapaa, he revealed that it is not difficult working with him, as people tend to think.
“It is not different working with Patapaa; I can call him any day.”
Recounting his journey to fame, he indicated that the journey has not been easy.
“I went to Hitmaker twice, and they didn’t pick me. I think I was not mature. I later got a label, and I have been with them for 5 years.”
