Controversial TV personality Mona Gucci has stirred up more controversy with her recent remarks regarding fellow socialite Moesha Buduong.
In a recent statement, Gucci expressed her refusal to support fundraising efforts for Buduong’s medical treatment.
Gucci’s statement comes after Buduong condemned her comments on the state of slay queens in Ghana.
Gucci questioned why she should advocate for Buduong’s cause when she faced criticism from her own friend in the past.
“Especially when my friend Moesha’s issue came, people kept (asking), ‘Mona you are not talking about Moesha’s issue’. It is not as if i am not talking about Moesha’s issue – the day i taled about slay queens, my own friend Moesha was the first to accuse or hammer or backlash so if today, Moesha is going through something and they have to raise for her, why do you want me to come speak?”
“This is someone who has condemned me already so why would I come speak for her? This is something I won’t do.”
