A middle-aged Ghanaian woman, who is going through a divorce, is making a compelling request for GHS 500k as compensation from her ex-husband following the breakdown of their marriage.
The woman’s emotional plea stems from her claim that she faced numerous challenges and sacrifices within the marriage, only to be eventually left by her husband for another woman.
During a broadcast segment of the Afutuo show on Oyerepa FM, hosted by Auntie Naa and monitored by News & Vibes, the resilient woman made a vow that she would not let the divorce proceedings conclude without securing what she believes is rightfully hers.
In an effort to facilitate an amicable divorce settlement, the determined Ghanaian woman is putting forth a bold demand of an astounding GH¢500,000 in compensation from her ex-husband.
“Dear Mohammed, I implore you to provide me with GH¢500,000 to support me and my children, as I refuse to endure hardship so that someone else may benefit,” she emotionally expressed during the radio show.
Furthermore, she asserted, “I am adamant about staying in our shared household with our children until I find another partner who is willing to marry me,” underlining her determination to assert her needs and protection of her family.
A video captured by our organization depicts the woman recounting that she was a working professional when she met her husband, only to later be asked to cease working after their marriage with reassurances that he would take care of her.
