In a desperate cry for help, a group of women in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, has taken to the streets to protest the scarcity of husbands and boyfriends in the face of rising violence.
The women, who marched in unison, lamented the devastating impact of violence on their relationships and their ability to find suitable partners.
“We no see husband for Benin ooo, them don kill boyfriend finish,” one of the women exclaimed, expressing the desperation and frustration felt by many.
