Bernard Mensah, a once-wealthy young man currently battling a swollen stomach and apparent mental illness, has made a shocking revelation about how he allegedly buried a different body in place of his late mother, Mary Ama Mensah.

Bernard, whose sister, Vivian Mensah, has been moving from place to place in search of help for him, disclosed that his troubles stem from his involvement with a secret society he joined in his quest to become rich.

According to Bernard, members of the society told him that his mother’s blessings would be transferred to him to guarantee wealth but he was instructed to bring personal items belonging to her for the ritual.

“I was told to bring things that belonged to my mother so that her blessings could be given to me. After that my life changed and I became rich,” Bernard claimed.

He further alleged that after his mother passed away, he was warned never to bury her body or risk losing all his wealth.

“They told me plainly that if I buried my mother everything I owned would vanish,” he said.

Bernard claimed the society had influence at the mortuary where his mother’s body was kept. He alleged that the group secretly swapped his mother’s body with that of an unclaimed woman.

He further revealed that an expert from Nigeria was contacted and given a photograph of his mother to guide the process of her burial.

“They brought someone from Nigeria and gave him my mother’s picture. He used it to dress the unclaimed body to look like my mother on the burial day,” Bernard alleged.

According to him, the unclaimed body was buried and mourned by family members as though it were his late mother while her actual body was never laid to rest.

Bernard says he is now suffering severe consequences, including recurring strange dreams, mental distress and an unexplained swollen stomach.

His sister, Vivian Mensah, said she had been seeking spiritual and medical help for her brother unaware that his current condition might be linked to his past actions.

Bernard said that due to his illness, he was unable to visit the mortuary regularly to check on his mother’s body. He added that when he eventually went there, he was informed that the body might have been classified as unclaimed and included in a mass burial.
