38-year-old mason takes own life after praise and prayer session
A devastating incident has occurred in Ajumako Entumbil, in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region, where a 38-year-old mason has taken his own life.
The deceased, whose identity has not been disclosed, was found hanged in his room on Monday, July 15, 2024, around 10:00 PM.
According to reports, the deceased had spent the evening singing songs of praise and praying in his room, which was unusual behavior for him.
His mother, Ekua Adoa, told Kasapa News that they were sleeping in their room when they heard the deceased singing and praying.
However, when they didn’t hear his voice after some time, his sister went to retrieve her mobile phone charger from him.
Upon knocking on the door without a response, they forced the door open with sticks and made the gruesome discovery.
Relatives described the deceased as appearing fit and unaware of any struggles that may have led to this tragic act. The incident has been reported to the Ajumako District Police Command for investigation, and the body has been conveyed to the morgue.
