A man identified as Louis Nwachukwu has been confirmed dead after spending the night in a hotel with a woman in Mpape, a suburb of Abuja.
According to early reports, Louis arrived at the hotel with a woman named Helen Raymond. Staff at the hotel noted that the pair seemed relaxed and showed no signs of any conflict when they checked in.
Events took a dark turn after what was believed to be an intimate encounter between the two. Helen, who is now cooperating with investigators, reportedly noticed something was wrong when Louis fell asleep and failed to respond to her efforts to wake him.
Concerned, she informed hotel management, prompting an emergency call to both police and medical responders. Upon arrival, health personnel confirmed Louis had passed away.
His remains were transported to a nearby morgue, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted to uncover the exact cause of his sudden death.
