Ghanaian high jumper Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah is ready to put her country on the global athletics map at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
The Kumasi-born athlete first showcased her talent at a local school competition before honing her skills at the University of Cape Coast and later at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign under top-tier coaching.
In June 2024, Yeboah captured the NCAA outdoor high jump title with a remarkable 1.97m leap. She also boasts international experience, having won gold at the 2019 African U20 Championships in Abidjan and at the African Games in Rabat the same year.
