The family of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas has finally taken custody of her remains after authorities released her body, following its discovery inside singer D4VD’s Tesla earlier this month.
Celeste was found dead on September 8, 2025, in the trunk of the vehicle at a Hollywood tow yard. Authorities were able to confirm her identity using dental records and a distinctive tattoo on her finger that read “Shhh…”.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently handling the matter as a homicide investigation. While no suspects have been named, D4VD, born David Anthony Burke, is said to be cooperating fully with investigators.
