Young Ghanaian defender Samuel Ofori has been honoured by his club, Kirivong Sok Sen Chey, after reaching the milestone of 100 professional appearances.
Ofori marked the achievement during Kirivong Sok Sen Chey’s 2-1 victory over Dangkor Senchey in the Cambodian Premier League, after which he was presented with a customised jersey in recognition of the landmark moment.
The defender began his professional journey with The Dolphins FC before moving in the winter of 2022 to Ravshan Kulob as a free agent. He made his official debut in April 2022 against Regar-TadAZ Tursunzoda and went on to play 20 of 22 league matches in the 2021/22 season, earning the award for Best Foreign Player in Tajikistan’s Vysshaya Liga.
Ofori helped Ravshan Kulob finish runners-up in the league in 2022 and 2023, win the 2023 Tajik Supercup, and compete in both the AFC Cup and AFC Champions League Two.
He later had brief spells with Zimbru Chișinău and Khosilot Farkhor before joining Kirivong Sok Sen Chey, where he continues to add to his growing career record.
