The suspects, aged between 18 and 37, were apprehended during the coordinated swoop.

Police say the operation forms part of renewed efforts to combat the sale and distribution of illicit drugs and address other criminal activities that have raised concerns among residents.

A search conducted during the exercise led to the retrieval of nine motorbikes, boxes of machetes, pairs of scissors, lighters, packets of cigarettes, and small quantities of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
