The Ga Mantse, upon meeting the First Lady warmly embraced her and exchanged pleasantries

The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, on February 25, 2026, paid a courtesy call on Lordina Mahama, wife of President John Dramani Mahama, following his recovery from a recent road accident.

According to multiple reports, the visit was to express gratitude to the President and his family for their support during his hospitalization, particularly the President’s visit to him at the University of Ghana Medical Centre.

The Ga Mantse, who was dressed in a long white outfit and wearing a neck support, was accompanied by members of his entourage to the President’s residence.

Upon meeting the First Lady, he warmly embraced her and exchanged pleasantries. Lordina Mahama expressed her sympathy and concern over the accident.

Earlier, the Ga Mantse had been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre after receiving treatment. His discharge came shortly after President Mahama visited him on the evening of Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Videos shared on social media showed the President and his team arriving at the hospital to check on the Greater Accra King.

In another video, the King was seen leaving the facility in his V8 vehicle after being discharged.

The Ga Mantse was involved in a road accident in the early hours of Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The incident reportedly occurred around 2:00 a.m. at Pai-Katanga in the Oti Region while he was returning to Accra from Tamale.

Palace sources revealed that the Ga Mantse had travelled to the Northern Region on a private visit at the invitation of the Yaa Naa.
