WPL 2025/26: Hasaacas, Ampem Darkoa Ladies close in on another final

The Ghana Women’s Premier League season finale could be set for yet another Ampem Darkoa Ladies versus Hasaacas Ladies clash at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

The two teams occupy the top spot in the Northern and Southern zones, respectively, following another winning weekend during matchday 15.

In the Southern Zone, Hasaacas Ladies maintained their three-point lead at the top of the table after coming a goal down to beat Soccer Intellectuals.

Milot Pokuaa wrapped up the victory for the Hasmal Ladies after Abiba Issah had equalised for the home side as they earned a 2-1 win.

Oak Ladies bounced back to winning ways as they snatched a 1-0 win at home against Epiphany Warriors, while LadyStikers were beaten at home in their fixture against Army Ladies.

Jonina were 3-0 winners over relegation-threatened Halifax Queens, while Samartex Ladies held defending champions Police Ladies to a stalemate.

The Northern Zone saw Ampem Darkoa pick up the biggest win with a 3-1 victory over Northern City Ladies on Saturday.

Prisons Ladies won away in their encounter with FC Savannah, with Ashtown Ladies and Fosu Royals playing out a 1-1 draw.

Northern Ladies were held to a 1-1 draw by Dreamz Ladies, while there were no goals in the game between Kumasi Sports Academy and Tamale Super Ladies.

There are just three rounds of games to go until the end of the regular season, with Ampem Darkoa boasting a six-point lead while Hasaacas are three points clear in the Southern Zone.
