The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has introduced an online registration portal to make it easier for members to register and obtain their party cards.

The move aims to address issues raised during the ongoing nationwide registration process, including allegations of constituency officers and polling station executives mishandling registration.

The party started membership registration from March 1st to March 31st, but due to some challenges, they have introduced an online registration portal to make the process smoother.

NPP General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, announced the portal at a news conference, stating it will provide a flexible and convenient way for members to register and pay dues.

According to lawyer Justin Kodua, the platform caters to registered voters, non-registered voters, and Ghanaians living abroad.

The online process involves completing registration and paying dues, after which members receive a temporary digital membership card.

To obtain a permanent card, members must visit their polling station to complete the process, as required by the party’s constitution.
