While ECG is trending online, the attention is far from positive; users are airing complaints about inconsistent electricity supply.

Amidst the disruptions, the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) has instructed the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to prepare a formal load-shedding schedule.

Despite this, ECG maintains that there is no dumsor and that a timetable is unnecessary.

The situation has left many residents struggling to carry out daily activities, highlighting ongoing challenges in the country’s electricity supply system.
