Tomorrow, February 14, thrill-seekers will have the chance to experience the Adrenaline & Affection Valentine’s Day Expedition at the scenic Truba Enclave.

The event, organized by Opemsuo Radio in collaboration with Truba Enclave, promises visitors an unforgettable mix of height, water, and adventure challenges.

Speaking in an interview with Mr. Black on Opemsuo Radio’s Oseikromkwanso, Jay Jay Kwaku A. Addo-Koranteng, Executive Officer and Master Guide at Truba, shared the fascinating history behind the site. He explained that Truba was originally an old quarry.

“Back when they were blasting with dynamite, they hit a pocket of water. Over time, the water accumulated, creating a 160-feet-deep pool. The area used to be bushy and home to rock pythons,” he said.

Mr. Addo-Koranteng explained how safety was a top priority in transforming the old quarry into an adventure hub.

“We used heavy machinery to clear the rocks and ensure no loose stones could fall on participants. We regularly check the site, even shaking rocks before activities to guarantee safety,” he added.

The Valentine’s expedition will feature a thrilling zip line over the water, taking advantage of the site’s natural elevations—about 100 feet on one side and 40 feet on the other.

“It combines the excitement of height with the challenge of water, allowing participants to confront and overcome their fears,” Mr. Addo-Koranteng noted.

Participants can also enjoy upsailing, an activity that simulates climbing down a cliff edge with secure ropes.

“Our system is extremely safe, the ropes can hold far beyond human weight, ensuring nobody is at risk of injury,” he reassured.

Adrenaline & Affection Valentine’s Day Expedition at the scenic Truba Enclave is open to all adventure lovers looking to combine thrill with romance in a safe and scenic environment.
