Ajagurajah Speaks Out Against His Exclusion from Meetings with President Mahama
Bishop Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, widely recognized as Ajagurajah, has openly shared his discontent regarding what he perceives as consistent neglect by former President Mahama.
In a recent statement, Ajagurajah voiced his frustration over being excluded from several significant meetings and prayer sessions with the president.
According to him, numerous other pastors have been invited to meet with Mahama, but he and other spiritual leaders like him have been left out of these engagements, making them feel marginalized.
Ajagurajah, who leads the Universal Spiritual Outreach, a spiritual movement with a strong following in Ghana, emphasized that he and his fellow spiritual pastors have been actively contributing to the nation’s well-being, yet their efforts have seemingly been overlooked by the president.
This exclusion, he stated, has led him to question whether spiritual leaders are genuinely respected or even considered by political leaders.
His comments reflect a growing concern among some religious figures that their influence and contributions are being disregarded by the political establishment, particularly when it comes to participation in vital discussions.
This situation has raised larger questions about the role of spiritual leaders in shaping national discourse and their representation in crucial matters of state.
