Ayisha Modi Reveals Details of Stonebwoy’s Violent Outburst at Sarkodie’s Concert

‘Ungrateful!’ Ayisha Modi Slams Stonebwoy Over Silent Debt to Asamoah Gyan

Ayisha Modi, the former associate of reggae-dancehall artist Stonebwoy, has exposed the real reason behind the 2020 confrontation between Stonebwoy and Angel Town, Sarkodie’s long-time manager.

Speaking candidly in a video posted on her social media, Modi shed light on the events that unfolded during the August 2020 Black Love Virtual Concert.

According to Modi, the incident began when Stonebwoy, who was scheduled to perform at the virtual concert, was informed that Shatta Wale would be taking the stage before him.

This announcement allegedly triggered Stonebwoy’s anger, leading him to assault Angel Town. Modi suggests that jealousy towards Shatta Wale was a key factor in Stonebwoy’s reaction.

Modi described how Stonebwoy lost control upon hearing Shatta Wale’s name, and in his rage, he struck Angel Town, causing the manager to fall.

The altercation continued as Stonebwoy allegedly attacked Angel Town further while he was on the ground. Modi, who tried to intervene, claimed she was also injured in the process, with Stonebwoy reportedly biting her in the heat of the moment. Modi said she responded by hitting him in return.

On their way home after the incident, Modi claimed she chastised Stonebwoy for jeopardizing the concert and wasting the significant amount of money she had invested in him.

Stonebwoy, according to Modi, later apologized, admitting he didn’t know what came over him.

At the time, reports of the altercation were met with conflicting narratives, but now, Modi, a close insider during the incident, has come forward to clear the air.

This revelation comes amid a series of public ‘exposés’ by Modi, in which she has shared various embarrassing details about Stonebwoy, including mocking his performance in the U.S. and accusing him of being ungrateful towards footballer Asamoah Gyan after Gyan funded Stonebwoy’s knee surgery.

The incident, which occurred during Sarkodie’s virtual concert at the height of the pandemic in August 2020, had initially stirred controversy.

After the scuffle, Stonebwoy publicly apologized to Angel Town, and the two parties reconciled. Stonebwoy later explained that the confrontation arose after he had been kept waiting for an extended period before being allowed to perform, adding to the tension between him and Angel Town.
