In an interview on Opemsuo Radio monitored by News & Vibes, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly called Cheddar, asserted that being a president is not a ‘big thing’ because he already has his own money.
According to the presidential candidate, he is vying for president because he wants to leave a legacy and be remembered by generations even in his absence.
“I am after legacy. I want to be a historic man. I don’t want to be a rich man, I don’t just want to be a president; I want to be a man that will be remembered by his nation, that my absence will be felt by nations, not by one.”
He explained that he has experienced both poverty and wealth, and there is nothing to be achieved in being a president that he doesn’t already have.
He said that Ghana has money but only a few people in the country are enjoying it, including foreigners, while the majority suffer.
“I am ready for Ghana to turn them into Ghanaians. There is money here, and foreigners are taking it all. People get trillions.”
