In a candid post addressed to Burna Boy’s official Instagram account, Brymo issued a series of bold statements and challenges.
In the post, Brymo wasted no time in expressing his opinion, advising Burna Boy to step away from the pop music scene.
He candidly remarked on Burna Boy’s appearance, suggesting that he is “seriously looking, almost ugly.” Brymo also drew attention to his own vocal abilities, likening them to his counterpart’s and suggesting that neither possesses exceptional singing prowess.
However, Brymo’s critique didn’t stop there. He asserted his own status as a deity in the music realm, insinuating that Burna Boy’s longing for his attention is evidence of Brymo’s undeniable influence.
Despite Burna Boy’s international acclaim, Brymo suggested that he lacks something essential, offering his assistance if Burna Boy were to approach him with humility and respect.
In a recent interview, Brymo reaffirmed his stance on not mentioning Burna Boy’s name in his songs, reminiscent of a previous diss aimed at the fellow musician.
In response, Burna Boy asserted his self-proclaimed title as a “King” and took aim at Brymo’s musical style, suggesting it predominantly consists of Yoruba music proverbs.
