Ghanaian agribusiness firm Eno’s Organics has taken its products to the international stage at Macfrut 2026, as the company seeks to expand its footprint within global food markets.
The exhibition, held at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy, is one of the world’s leading gatherings for stakeholders across the fruit and vegetable value chain, bringing together producers, distributors, investors and innovators to explore trends in sustainable agriculture and food systems.
Participation by Eno’s Organics was facilitated through sponsorship from the E4Impact Foundation, a move the company says reflects the growing recognition of African agribusinesses within global value chains.
Managing Director Florence Adjei said the exposure gained at the event forms part of a broader strategy to position the brand in international retail spaces, particularly as demand for African and diaspora cuisine continues to grow.
At the centre of the company’s exhibition is its flagship product, Eno’s Palm Nut, a ready-to-cook palm soup base developed for consumers seeking convenience without compromising authenticity. Produced without preservatives or additives, the product is targeted at both diaspora communities and health-conscious consumers in European markets.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Ms Adjei said participation in Macfrut goes beyond visibility, offering direct access to potential distribution partners capable of scaling the business internationally.
She noted that the company’s model focuses on innovation rooted in tradition, simplifying the often labour-intensive preparation of palm fruit into a standardised, frozen product while maintaining its natural taste and cultural identity.
Now in its 43rd edition, Macfrut continues to serve as a key global platform for agribusiness collaboration, with this year’s theme, “Make it Juicy,” highlighting innovation, sustainability and cross-border partnerships. The spotlight on Sicily as the partner region and the broader international focus reflect a growing global interest in origin-driven food systems.
Industry players at the exhibition say such platforms are increasingly important for African businesses seeking to move beyond local markets and integrate into global supply chains.
For Eno’s Organics, ongoing engagements with buyers and partners at the Rimini event are expected to open new commercial opportunities and mark a significant step in its transition from a domestic brand to an international player.
