Ghanaian TikTok Star Shares the Real Struggles Behind His Fame

Ghanaian TikTok sensation and content creator 24Gh has opened up about the challenges behind his seemingly glamorous online presence. While his TikTok videos regularly go viral, the influencer has admitted that his life is not as easy or financially rewarding as many of his fans may believe.

In a candid interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show monitored by News and Vibes, 24Gh shared that despite his widespread popularity and large following across social media platforms, he is far from living a life of luxury. “Things are not easy at all,” he revealed, emphasizing the stark contrast between the image his followers see and the struggles he faces behind the scenes.

The influencer explained that while he often receives messages from fans asking for financial help or requesting mobile money transfers (Momo), they fail to realize that he, too, is battling his own financial hardships.

He highlighted that, despite the viral nature of his TikTok videos, the platform does not offer a direct way for creators in Ghana to monetize their content effectively. Without options like official ads or consistent payouts, his success on TikTok does not automatically translate into financial gain.

24Gh further elaborated that although he sometimes receives gifts from fans during live sessions or secures brand collaborations, the money generated from TikTok is minimal.

The only platform where he makes significant income is YouTube, though he admitted that even earnings from there are not substantial, occasionally not exceeding GHC5000.

The content creator encouraged his followers to show their support beyond just watching his TikTok videos by subscribing to his YouTube channel. He explained that every view on his YouTube content could directly impact his income and help him continue producing content.
