Global InfoAnalytics Boss Slams Koku Anyidoho Over Bribery Allegations

The Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, has hit back hard at Samuel Koku Anyidoho, accusing the controversial former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of spreading false and damaging allegations.

This public clash has stirred heated conversation within political and religious circles alike.

According to Mr. Dankwah, recent statements made by Koku Anyidoho suggesting he accepted bribes from former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC are not only baseless but deeply insulting.

The accusations, he said, question the integrity of his work as a pollster and undermine the credibility of scientific political research in Ghana.

Taking to social media on May 7, 2025, Mussa Dankwah used a strongly worded post to defend his reputation and clarify the circumstances surrounding his professional engagements.

He expressed his shock and disappointment at being falsely accused, especially by someone who presents himself as a religious figure and advocate for moral leadership.

Dankwah maintained that his polling activities during the 2024 election cycle were conducted in a transparent, non-partisan manner. He emphasized that his interactions with Members of Parliament were purely professional, aimed at helping them interpret and understand polling results to better prepare their campaign strategies.

According to him, such consultations are standard practice in political data analytics and do not amount to collusion or manipulation.

He further revealed that the same polling data shared with MPs was also provided to other key stakeholders, including investors and Ghana’s respected Mike Oquaye Committee. This, he argued, shows that the information was not selectively released or doctored for partisan benefit.

What seems to have triggered even more backlash from Dankwah was the claim that these bribery accusations came from someone who brands himself as a man of God.

He criticized what he described as hypocrisy, insisting that true religious leaders must lead by example—demonstrating honesty, integrity, and truthfulness, especially in public discourse.

This sharp response follows recent comments made by Koku Anyidoho, who had earlier proposed that moral and spiritual education be introduced at the basic school level. His suggestion was based on the belief that instilling theological and ethical values in children early would help combat social vices in Ghana.

However, Dankwah’s rebuttal has cast a shadow over Anyidoho’s moral credibility, with many now questioning whether personal grudges and political motives may be behind the attacks.

As this drama unfolds, it has opened up broader discussions on the role of opinion polling in Ghana’s political process, the credibility of pollsters, and the fine line between public service and political propaganda.

It also raises important questions about how individuals in positions of influence—whether in politics, religion, or media—should conduct themselves in the public space.
