Speaking on OKAY FM, the RuffTown Records label manager said he has done a lot for the late artiste’s father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, also known as Starboy Kwarteng, but claims his efforts have not been appreciated.

He stated that Starboy Kwarteng has never publicly acknowledged his support or spoken about the assistance he has received over the years. He also alleged that the father of the late artiste received 50% of Ebony’s royalties instead of the 20% originally agreed.

“He always says Bullet has done nothing for me. I have done a lot. I gave him 50% of Ebony’s royalties. He has made close to $100,000 from some of the payments received. But he will never come out to say those things about Bullet. Because the agreement was that the artiste was supposed to receive 20%, but you took 50%,” he said.

Bullet further claimed that Starboy Kwarteng pressured him into releasing funds, allegedly with the support of influential media personalities who, according to him, were working against him at the time.

“He bullied me for the money because at that time he had a lot of radio presenters supporting him to bring me down. I have done a lot for him and Ebony. So he didn’t allow me to help him. The first concert money, he took everything,” he added.

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns died in a tragic road accident on February 8, 2018, on the Sunyani–Kumasi highway after a head-on collision with a VIP bus. Since her passing, her father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, has remained active in preserving her legacy.
