Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the Special Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, has strongly refuted claims circulating on social media alleging her receipt of a government scholarship.
In a statement released on her official platforms, Mogtari dismissed the accusations as propaganda and falsehood perpetuated by members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Addressing the allegations head-on, Mogtari categorically stated that she has never applied for nor received any grant or scholarship from either the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) or Ghana’s Scholarship Secretariat.
Additionally, she clarified that she has never been enrolled as a student at Portsmouth University, firmly denying another aspect of the misinformation campaign targeting her.
Expressing her disdain for the fabricated claims, Mogtari urged the public to disregard the publication and treat it with contempt. She further criticized the NPP and Vice President Bawumia, labeling them as dishonest, lying, and untrustworthy individuals.
