Ogunleye Oluwatosin, popularly known as Bro Bouche, is a well-known creator of skits and material who has shared personal details about his path and decisive decision to forgo a law degree in order to pursue his passion.
Making skits was Bro Bouche’s first creative venture, which he started in 2015, according to an interview he recently conducted.
But his passion for the performing arts began during his college years at Obafemi Awolowo University, when he studied theater in addition to law.
Even after completing his legal studies, Bro Bouche was lured to the entertainment industry.
He made an effort to break into Nollywood, but he ran against obstacles and demands that were hard to deal with. He consequently turned his attention to content production, where he was able to express his creativity and feel more fulfilled.
Reflecting on his journey, Bro Bouche expressed, “I started my journey as a stage play actor during my second year at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State. However, content creation became a significant part of my life around 2015.”
After graduating from law school, Bro Bouche started pursuing movie playing parts, loving every audition despite its difficulties. But due to financial difficulties, he turned more and more into creating content, which allowed him to express his love of narrative and character development.
He emphasized his commitment to his craft, stating, “I can confidently say that I truly immerse myself in my performances. Whether it is in my content creation or elsewhere, I approach it with the mindset of embodying a character in a movie.”
