Nigerian artist Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has opened up about feeling betrayed by individuals he helped in the music industry.

Taking to his social media platform, the Afrobeat singer expressed disappointment over how some artists he supported turned against him. Despite the betrayal, he acknowledged God’s unwavering presence in his life.

Skales also emphasized the power of prayer, revealing that his late mother’s advice to trust in God has kept him going.

On his X handle, Skales wrote:

One day I’ll sit down and tell you a story of how a lot of people turned their backs on me, including people I helped build up in this industry. But guess what? God never failed me even when I was isolated… Don’t you ever stop praying and trusting God with everything you’ve got… Best advice my mom gave me!!!”
