Musician Erico shared his challenging early life, marked by a period of being under the care of a pastor and his wife, Paul and Paulina, during an appearance on the Okukuseku The Talk Show monitored by News & Vibes.
Erico, whose real name is Erico Kofi Oduro, spoke candidly about the tumultuous time he spent with the couple after his mother left him in their care.
“At a young age, my mum left me in the care of one pastor and his wife, Paul and Paulina. Then years later, my mum picked me back up in Accra,” Erico recalled, detailing his journey.
“It was when I was with the pastor that I discovered I could sing. I suffered in their hands, but when I grew up, I forgave them because the man was dying,” Erico revealed, his voice heavy with emotion.
The musician, now well-known for his contributions to the music industry, described the challenges he faced during his time with the pastor and his wife, expressing a deep sense of forgiveness despite the hardships he endured.
