Gospel musician Evangelist Akwasi Nyarko has voiced his displeasure over recent remarks made by fellow gospel artist Brother Sammy.
Nyarko was particularly upset by Brother Sammy’s claims that he was seeking attention through his recent online videos.
In a video shared online, Akwasi Nyarko fired back at Brother Sammy, accusing him of trying to undermine his success.
He refuted the idea that he needed attention, asserting that his reputation and financial standing far surpassed that of Brother Sammy.
Nyarko alleged that Sammy borrows cars and houses to create a false image of wealth and popularity.
Nyarko, known for hits like ‘Ma Fa Yesu Abo Me Bo’, confidently stated that Brother Sammy’s music does not compare to his own.
He went further to suggest that not a single song from Brother Sammy’s albums could match any of his tracks, even those he personally might consider less impressive.
Additionally, Nyarko criticised Brother Sammy for constantly inserting himself into controversies involving other gospel musicians, accusing him of using their issues to stay relevant.
He concluded by offering advice to gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy, encouraging her to ignore Brother Sammy’s criticisms following her decision to divorce her husband, claiming it was under divine direction.
Nyarko implied that Sammy’s opinions were irrelevant, given his tendency to involve himself in others’ affairs to maintain his own presence in the limelight.
Recently Brother Sammy accused his fellow gospel musician of divorcing her husband because she got more money or became richer.
According to him, if God really told Ohemaa Mercy to divorce her husband as she claims, then she did not need to go through any legal proceedings.
