A single mother has acknowledged the difficulties of finding a mate when raising a child alone by expressing appreciation for reality personality Queen Mercy Atang’s recent wedding.
The single mother applauded her good fortune in finding a partner who would accept her with her child after Queen Mercy’s court wedding, in which she married her ex-boyfriend and moved in with her child.
She praised the strength of single mothers and acknowledged the difficulty they confront in finding compatible mates.
Social media users’ responses to the single mother’s remarks were divided; although some agreed with her, others questioned the stigma associated with being a single mother.
While some stressed that being single does not necessarily mean that one cannot find a mate, others urged single mothers to maintain their success and self-assurance in the knowledge that the perfect person will eventually find them.
