What was supposed to be a romantic gesture has spiraled into legal threats for a tattoo artist, after a client returned demanding the removal of her now-regretted semi-permanent tattoo of her boyfriend’s name.
The tattoo artist, known as everythinggirlies7 on TikTok, shared her ordeal in a viral video. According to her, a young woman had visited her shop a few weeks ago, requesting the name “Famous Pablo” be tattooed on her chest — a tribute to her then-boyfriend.
The artist explained that the tattoo was semi-permanent and informed the client that the duration could vary based on individual skin types — for some, it could fade within months, and for others, it might linger for a year or more.
However, less than three weeks after the tattoo was completed, the woman returned in a fury, insisting the artist remove it immediately. She explained that her relationship with “Famous Pablo” had hit the rocks and she no longer wanted his name on her body.
Caught off guard, the artist reiterated that the tattoo could not be erased on command since it was semi-permanent and designed to fade naturally over time. The customer reportedly became aggressive, shouting and threatening to take legal action.
“She made phone calls and even told me we’d settle the matter in court,” the artist revealed.
The clip has since gone viral, sparking a wave of reactions online. While some sympathized with the artist, others offered humorous advice on how the woman could cover up the tattoo or live with her decision.
From jokes about renaming the tattoo to suggestions for creative cover-ups, the internet had plenty to say — but one message was loud and clear: think twice before inking your partner’s name.
