Wezzy Empire has released an official statement addressing the tragic accident that occurred last Saturday, involving their Chief Executive Officer, Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known in the showbiz industry as Lil Win. The collision, which took place in Amakom, Kumasi, resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy, Emmanuel Richard Ampomah.
In the press release, Wezzy Empire’s management expressed deep gratitude to the public for their overwhelming support during this difficult time. They also extended their sincere thanks to the management and medical staff of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s Emergency Unit for their swift and professional response to the incident.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of the three-year-old boy who was involved in the gruesome accident,” the statement read. “We extend our sincere condolences to the bereaved family.”
Addressing rumors and speculations surrounding the accident, Wezzy Empire categorically denied allegations of negligence on their part, labeling such claims as “distasteful and disturbing” during an already troubling time. The management clarified that they were unaware of the full extent of the damage immediately following the accident due to the severe injuries sustained by their artist, manager, and bouncer.
“We remain resolute that investigations by the Police will establish the facts of the matter in due course,” the statement added.
The release also provided updates on the health status of those involved. Raymoney, Lil Win’s artiste manager, is still undergoing treatment at the hospital, as is Kwadwo Nkansah himself, who has not yet fully recovered from the tragedy. The statement noted that their bouncer has been processed for surgical review.
“We continue to crave for the support of all Ghanaians to pray for the affected persons’ full recovery,” concluded the press release, urging the public to keep them in their thoughts with the hashtag #Pray_4_Lilwin_and_Ray_money.
This heartfelt plea for solidarity and patience as the investigation unfolds highlights the community’s need to come together in support of those affected by this tragic event.
