A chilling tale of a close call with HIV has been shared on social media by a young man.
According to his post, he met a charming girl through a friend, unaware that she was a sex worker.
After a condom burst during their first sexual encounter, they both got tested at a hospital, where she reportedly tested positive for HIV, but convinced the doctor to keep the result from him.
Despite the initial test, they continued to engage in unprotected sex multiple times over the next two months.
It wasn’t until their second hospital visit that the truth came to light.
The girl again tested positive, and this time, she revealed her initial test results to the nurse, who informed the man.
Although he has since tested negative for HIV, the man is still shaken and fearful, given the repeated exposure.
He expressed his distress and anxiety about the situation, revealing that he had been planning to join the army and was in a long-distance relationship with a girlfriend abroad.

“I met this charming girl through my friend, unknown to me she was a Prostitute. Long and short of it is that we had our first sex and the condom bust, we went to hospital a day after the incident, she tested HIV positive, I was negative she convinced the doctor not to disclose the status to me, the doctor also hid it and we kept funking till yesterday we went to hospital to do something and she decided to test again, this is two month after the first test, she was positive, she asked the nurse not to tell me, she also told the nurse about her first test and how she hid the results from me. I went to check this morning though I was negative but I’m still scared. Hrrr this Nigerian girl has finished me, just graduated doing my service, planning to join the army, waiting for my serious girlfriend of 5 years who is in abroad atm, I’m just shattered though I tested negative I still have fears because we kept doing it over and over and over and over and its less than 3 months.”
