Marriage isn't advantageous for men but benefits women financially - Kojo Yankson

Ghanaian broadcaster Kojo Yankson has raised doubts about how marriage benefits men practically. He shared his thoughts on the ‘Say Less’ podcast on LynxPlay.

Yankson thinks that marriage doesn’t always give men clear advantages, especially when it comes to money. According to him, marriage is for the benefit of women and it becomes very difficult to see the benefit it gives to men considering the benefits women get.

He believes that modern marriages come with a lot of responsibilities that might not be worth it for men. Yankson also challenged the idea that marriage mainly helps men. He wants people to think about what married men can do that single men can’t.

Yankson’s comments have started conversations about how marriage affects both men and women.
