In an interview with Delay monitored by News & Vibes, popular TikToker Cynthia Amoako, aka Obaa Cee recounted how her first husband who was then her boyfriend left her at the hospital without paying the hospital bills when she gave birth.
“He didn’t take care of me when I was pregnant and when I gave birth. I was even stuck at the hospital because no one had settled my bills. My mum visited my elder sister and asked for money to get me out of the hospital. My mum took care of the baby till the man came back to look at the the child.”
According to her, she returned to work while her mum took care of the baby but once she became financially stable, her husband returned.
“My mom took care of my baby while I went back to work. I became rich at that time and when he was told by his friend that I was comfortable and a man can snatch me he came back with family members to plead and do marriage rites but he disagreed with me moving to live with him claimimg his room was small.”
“I got pregnant again when my baby was 5 or 6 years and he asked me to abort the baby because he has no money. He divorced me 40 days after giving birth. He left me at the hospital to settle my debts because he came to argue with me over the amounts being charged claiming it is not caesarian so why am I being charged this much so I asked him to ask the hospital authorities, he later paid.”
