Evangelist Mama Pat, also called Nana Agradaa, has expressed her trust in Nana Kwame Bediako, commonly referred to as Cheddar, and his pledge to dredge the Ashanti Region’s capital, Kumasi.
She was confident that Cheddar, being wealthy, could afford to buy cutting-edge electronics to keep his word.
Agradaa defended Cheddar against public mockery in a TikTok live session that News & Vibes was watching, claiming that he could prove his detractors wrong by keeping his word.
She also praised Cheddar’s accomplishment as a young billionaire and called him one of the politicians she admires.
In an interview with radio stations in Kumasi in the past few weeks, Cheddar expressed his desire to bring the sea all the way to Kumasi.
He clarified that the project was a component of his larger plan to improve trade by developing Ghana’s Eastern and Western Corridors. Cheddar encountered opposition despite his bold goals, with some doubting his sincerity as a politician and the viability of his ideas.
Some Ghanaians have doubted him while some have mocked him.
Afia Schwar for instance indicated that there are more important things that Ghana or Kumasi needs. She mentioned hospitals with preganant women lying on bare floors. She also questioned where or on which land Cheddar intends to put the sea.
