Veteran journalist Benjamin Asante Darko, known in media circles as Omanhene Kwabena Asante, has cast doubt on the readiness of Malik Basintale to lead Ghana’s Youth Employment Agency (YEA).
His concerns follow a recent incident in which a group of youth, reportedly aligned with the National Democratic Congress, stormed the YEA headquarters demanding job opportunities. Footage of the commotion went viral on social media, sparking widespread commentary.
According to Omanhene, Basintale’s handling of the situation reflects a lack of political and administrative maturity.
