Ohemaa Mercy, a gospel performer, has opened out about the difficult and intense labor experience she went through.
After three days of labor, she stated in an Adom TV interview monitored by News & Vibes that the condition was potentially fatal.
Despite receiving medical attention, Ohemaa Mercy’s child had not yet come by Friday after going into labor on a Tuesday. She described how the medical team chose to conduct an emergency caesarean section since the complicated labor posed serious hazards to her and her unborn child.
Despite being effective, there was one more problem after the procedure. Her surgical stitches were taken out a week later, leaving her wound exposed. Ohemaa Mercy claimed that as a result of this issue, she was taken to the operating room immediately in order to undergo another surgery.
The gospel singer revealed that she was worrying about the cost of her medical care even while the physicians battled to save her life. She claimed that this caused her to experience mental and physical strain.
But Ohemaa Mercy claims that her mother’s friend, a nurse, intervened miraculously by offering an alternate course of action and by being a vital source of support at this crucial time. She claimed that in order to avoid aggravating her wound, she had to walk carefully and bend for a period of six months.
Ohemaa Mercy claimed that the difficult healing procedure put her faith and strength to the test. She said that one’s continued existence is evidence of God’s benevolence.
