In a recent interview on Okukuseku monitored by News & Vibes, musician Erico, born Eric Kofi Oduro, revealed a shocking incident he witnessed during a visit to a church he had gone to do song ministrations at, recounting an encounter that left him stunned and bewildered.
“I went to a church, and I will never forget this,” Erico began, setting the stage for his startling revelation.
“This pastor, a church leader’s wife, is his secretary. After the song ministration, the secretary took me to the pastor, and I had received some money for the ministration. I sat in my car to leave, but, you know, I wear spectacles and forgot them at the church, so I turned back to go for it.”
“When I got there, the secretary was nowhere to be found. Then I thought that probably everyone had left, so let me just check if the pastor’s office is open and pick up my spectacles and leave,” Erico continued, describing the events leading up to his shocking discovery.
“What my eyes saw when I went in… the secretary had held the table, and the pastor was having sex with her. I was shocked. This is just the church, so imagine outside. I shouted, ‘Jesus!’ and he said, ‘Oh, come, come, come,’ and the secretary left,” Erico recounted, his voice reflecting the disbelief he felt at the time.
He continued, “I said, ‘Please, I just came for my spectacles, I saw nothing.’ He said, ‘Oh, Eric, sit down,’ then he gave me twice the amount of money he had given me earlier. I accepted it, it was a bribe. Even until now, I won’t mention the pastor’s name,” Erico stated, reflecting on the incident.
