The Ghana Police Service has made significant progress in its investigation into two high-profile murder cases in Kumasi, arresting three suspects believed to be responsible for the deaths of a mobile money vendor and a young man known as Junior.
The arrests come just days after the victims, identified as Patricia Nimako and Gideon Owusu Sarpong (popularly known as Junior), were laid to rest.
Patricia, a MoMo vendor, was shot and killed at Krofrom, while Junior was attacked and murdered in his residence.
According to police reports, the three suspects—Charles Kwame Danso, 23, Philip Fordjour, 29, and Samuel Addai, 42—were apprehended in Kumasi on 21st March 2025.
Investigators believe they played key roles in the deadly incidents that shook the community.
While the arrests mark a crucial breakthrough, authorities have confirmed that one suspect remains on the run.
The police have urged the public to assist in tracking down the fugitive and have encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
As investigations continue, the suspects remain in custody and are expected to face prosecution in the coming days.
