Authorities in Jos, Central-North Nigeria, apprehended a man who reportedly mutilated his wife’s hand in a horrific act of violence after accusing her of taking a small sum from their savings.

According to reports, the man allegedly discovered that his wife had withdrawn a mere ¢30 (approximately $2.17 or N3,000) from their savings, prompting him to fly into a violent rage.

In a horrific act of brutality, he proceeded to sever her hand, inflicting grievous harm and irreparable trauma on his spouse.

Authorities swiftly responded to the scene and apprehended the perpetrator, whose actions have sparked widespread condemnation and outrage.
