Prophet Demands Compensation Before Submitting Prophecies to State

Prophet Fire Oja, head of the Holiness of Christ Zion Ministry, has publicly questioned the government’s new policy that requires religious leaders to submit prophecies for official scrutiny. The prophet argued that before the directive is enforced, the state should cover the transportation costs for those expected to appear in person.

In an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, Prophet Oja explained that many spiritual leaders cannot afford the journey to the Jubilee House to personally present their prophecies. “If the government says we should come to the Jubilee House with our prophecies, they should also provide car money and fuel. Not all of us can bear the cost of travel. If they want us there in person, the state should facilitate it,” he said.

The remarks come in response to a recent directive from the Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, which instructed religious leaders nationwide to submit any prophecy or spiritual message of national importance for urgent review.

Presidential Envoy Elvis Afriyie Ankrah clarified that the policy is intended to encourage “responsibility, discernment, and proper stewardship over the nation’s destiny,” particularly during these uncertain times. The review will focus on prophecies related to key political figures, governance, national security, and public stability.

Ankrah emphasized that the measure is not meant to hinder religious work but to prevent prophecies from causing unnecessary fear, panic, or social instability. He also called on churches and faith institutions to increase prayers for the nation’s leaders, state bodies, and families affected by the recent helicopter crash that claimed several government officials, military personnel, and NDC executives.
