Prominent road contractor Kofi Job has filed a defamation lawsuit against Frank Kwaku Appiah, widely known as Appiah Stadium or John Mahama Ba, at the Kumasi High Court. The lawsuit, seeking GHS 5 million in damages, stems from video content circulated by Appiah Stadium that allegedly tarnished Kofi Job’s reputation and caused significant embarrassment.
Kofi Job asserts that the false publications disseminated by Appiah Stadium on social media platforms, including TikTok, have inflicted severe damage on both his business and personal reputation. The videos in question accuse Kofi Job of halting work on certain road projects, an allegation he vehemently denies.
In his legal filing, Kofi Job is demanding:
– GHS 5 million in damages for the harm caused to his reputation.
– A formal retraction of the defamatory statements.
– A public apology from Frank Kwaku Appiah.
– Coverage of legal costs incurred due to the lawsuit.

The viral nature of the content on social media has exacerbated the situation, leading to widespread dissemination and, consequently, greater damage to his standing in the community and among his professional peers.
As of now, Frank Kwaku Appiah has not issued a public response to the lawsuit or the demands made by Kofi Job. The defendant’s legal strategy and next steps remain to be seen as the case progresses in the Kumasi High Court.
