SM God Is a Big God – Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale has once again lit up social media with a passionate message targeting critics and fans who, in his view, failed to fully appreciate his efforts during the peak of his music career.

The dancehall heavyweight, in a Facebook post dated Thursday, April 24, 2025, poured out his frustrations over how many Ghanaians prioritized branding, trends, and international accolades over raw consistency and musical impact.

He noted that while he was releasing hit songs nonstop, much of the focus shifted to artists perceived as trendy or internationally recognized. However, Shatta Wale stressed that he never slowed down, even when the applause was missing.

Despite the lack of recognition from some quarters, he maintained that his work ethic and love for entertaining Ghanaians kept him going. He urged fans to stop measuring success by worldly validation and reminded them to rely on divine timing.

He wrapped up his message with the kind of energy he’s known for—bold, brash, and confident. Declaring himself “the master trend-setter,” he reminded everyone that the SM movement stands strong because of divine favor, not human applause.
