Teen Denies Getting Lady Pregnant, Claims He Accepted It Out of Pity

A young Ghanaian man has publicly denied responsibility for a pregnancy, despite admitting to having had sexual relations with the woman in question.

The situation unfolded during a recent episode of the Lawson Afisem show, a platform known for highlighting social and family issues.

In the televised interview, the man confirmed that he had slept with the woman on two occasions, both times in an unfinished building.

However, he questioned the possibility of impregnating someone after just two encounters, stating that he finds it difficult to accept that he could be the father based on that alone.

He further explained that he only met the lady four months ago, whereas her pregnancy is already around six months along—a timeline he claims disqualifies him from being the father.

He also alleged that the lady has been seen with other men, suggesting there could be multiple possible fathers.

Interestingly, the young man admitted that he had initially accepted paternity, but later retracted his claim. When asked why he first agreed to be responsible for the pregnancy, he said he did so out of sympathy, as no other man had come forward and he had been intimate with her.
