A young man has been captured after reportedly sneaking into an uncompleted building and removing several fittings, including electrical wiring and aluminum window frames.
Footage of the incident surfaced on social media platform X, showing the suspect being escorted through the damaged property. The building, which was nearing completion, had visible signs of forced entry, with wires pulled from the walls and window fittings completely removed.
According to the post, the suspect is believed to have accessed the building through an opening in the ceiling. He was caught at the scene and held by a group of local men who filmed the aftermath.
The video also shows him being taken to what is suspected to be a stash site where he had hidden the stolen materials. Observers believe the recovered items may include loot from other construction sites in the vicinity.
The incident has sparked concern online, with many users urging property developers to improve security measures at building locations to prevent such thefts in future.
