Renowned broadcaster and Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Abeiku Santana, has responded to accusations made by former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mark Okraku-Mantey, concerning his alleged continued involvement in radio broadcasting.
The claims surfaced during an interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, where Okraku-Mantey questioned why the media had not addressed reports that Abeiku Santana was still behind the microphone at Okay FM’s Ekwanso Dwoodwoo drive time show, despite currently holding a public appointment.
Reacting to the claims, Abeiku Santana took to Facebook to firmly deny any such involvement. He described the allegations as false and misleading, emphasizing that he is no longer engaged in radio broadcasting and that his focus remains on his responsibilities as a Deputy CEO under the Ghana Tourism Authority.
His statement seeks to dismiss public speculation and clarify his professional position since his appointment during President Mahama’s administration.
